So, if you haven't already heard, Stephanie Meyer (author of The Host and Twilight series) has returned with a new novel titled The Chemist. Its actually similar to Jason Bourne, but in her style of course. The main lead is that, a chemist, who seems to use her skills for the military until she got tired of doing what they wanted and she is now on the run.
I have started reading, I'm on chapter 2. Its a brisk read so far, hopefully it will get more interesting as right now she seems to just be studying through stolen library books and trying to keep a low profile. I have at times gotten images of another similar twilight connector going off and doing something similar (Taylor Lautner in Abduction aka A Jason Bourne rip-off) Honestly, it wasn't terrific but it was at least a way to show Taylor could be an action star.
As far as Stephanie is concerned I think The Chemist will be an interesting read, a fun one I hope. I loved her other work, The Host, having found it highly original and exciting. Though the movie holds no merit to me what so ever. If you're a fan of Meyer's come check out her latest. Honestly though if you are a fan, or a huge fan, I don't need to tell you anything, by now you've beaten me and finished the book.
